ABOUT THE DRIFT

Our story

Kris and Sarah are outdoor enthusiasts who have a passion for adventure. They can be found on the mountain slopes running, biking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, hiking, camping and more.  They have raised their son and daughter in the town of Pagosa Springs. 

The dream for the Drift was born when they found themselves at the edge of burn out, both working several jobs and long hours.  Wanting to provide the perfect place for rest and refreshment, they were drawn to the hospitality industry.  The focus has been on providing a way to encourage healthy relaxation and enjoying the outdoors.

The Drift's unique configuration of King and twin bunk was inspired by traveling with their own kids. A good night's rest is imperative to a great getaway, and the Drift is set up for just that. 

Kris and Sarah hope the shared spaces at the Drift will provide a place of connection and conversation, for those who want it.  Guests who prefer a secluded retreat will enjoy the peace of the private cabin and the cozy finishes.
